This policy explains how NEXTTHINGS S.R.L. ("NEXTTHINGS", "we", "us") processes personal data when you visit nextthingslabs.com or contact us. We process personal data in accordance with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (Regulation (EU) 2016/679, "GDPR") and applicable Romanian law.

2. Visiting this website
This website does not use cookies, analytics, tracking pixels, advertising tools or contact forms, and it does not load content from third-party servers. All fonts and images are served from our own domain.
When you visit the site, our hosting provider automatically processes technical data needed to deliver the pages securely, such as your IP address, browser type, the page requested and the time of the request. This processing is based on our legitimate interest in operating a secure and reliable website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). We do not use this data to identify you or to build profiles.
3. When you contact us
If you write to us by email or call us, we process the data you share with us (for example your name, email address, phone number and the content of your message) in order to respond and, where relevant, to take steps before entering into a contract with you (Art. 6(1)(b) and (f) GDPR). We keep this correspondence only as long as needed for that purpose or as required by law.
4. Mobile applications
NEXTTHINGS develops and publishes mobile applications. Information about the personal data processed by a specific application is provided in that application, in its store listing and, where applicable, in an application-specific section of this policy.
5. Service providers
We use carefully selected providers that process data on our behalf, under data processing agreements:
- Amazon Web Services: website hosting and delivery.
- Our email provider: sending and receiving email.
Where a provider processes data outside the European Economic Area, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses or an adequacy decision.
6. Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to:
- access the personal data we hold about you;
- have inaccurate data corrected;
- have your data deleted;
- restrict or object to processing;
- data portability;
- withdraw your consent at any time, where processing is based on consent.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Romanian data protection authority, Autoritatea Națională de Supraveghere a Prelucrării Datelor cu Caracter Personal (ANSPDCP), www.dataprotection.ro.

The website is served exclusively over encrypted HTTPS connections. We apply appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal data against loss, misuse and unauthorised access.
